Moulds for Laboratory Pastry Presses
Design and production of fixed and decomposable moulds for hydraulic laboratory presses
Every scientific and industrial research laboratory, which needs to produce by the sintering process, specimens for spectroscopic analysis, prototypes or small series of components, uses small hydraulic or mechanical presses called laboratory sintering presses.
In order to produce a specimen or a component according to drawing, with the sintering process, it is necessary to combine the press with a mould, which is very often complex and difficult to construct for laboratory technicians, who turn to expert mould-makers. Our decades of experience in the field of sintering have enabled us to establish collaborations in Italy and Europe, with research laboratories, both university and private, to which we supply our standard mould models, fixed or decomposable, for cylindrical or prismatic specimens. Frequently, however, laboratories need to produce complex components to drawing, in which case we study, design and build special moulding systems. Collaboration with prestigious scientific organisations is stimulating in itself, but it becomes a source of professional pride when the production of a part seems impossible, and with our experience we manage to find suitable solutions that allow the project to continue.
